Epic Global Innovations Inc. operates the Epic ERA Shield, a body-worn safety device and connected monitoring platform used by construction and roofing companies. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you.

This policy applies to:

• Workers who wear an Epic ERA Shield device
• Employers and administrators who manage devices and workers through the Epic ERA platform
• Safety contacts, including jobsite supervisors and emergency contacts, who receive alerts
• Visitors to epiceraalert.com

Device and sensor information

Epic ERA Shield devices collect and transmit:

• Motion and orientation data from accelerometers and gyroscopes
• Location data from the Global Positioning System (GPS)
• Environmental readings including temperature, humidity, and barometric pressure
• Device status information including battery level, signal strength, and connectivity state
• Device identifiers and timestamps

This information is transmitted to our platform to detect fall events, generate alerts, and produce safety reporting for the employer that deployed the device.

Account and worker information

We collect information provided by employers and administrators, which may include worker names, job roles, employer name, jobsite assignments, and device assignments.

Safety contact information

When a person registers as a safety contact, we collect their name, company name, mobile phone number, and, where provided, email address, along with the date and record of their consent.

Website information

We collect standard technical information when you visit epiceraalert.com, including browser type, device type, and pages viewed.

We use the information we collect to:

• Detect fall events and other safety conditions
• Send alerts to designated safety contacts
• Provide safety and compliance reporting to employers
• Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Epic ERA platform and devices
• Respond to support requests
• Comply with legal obligations

If you consent to receive text message alerts from Epic Global Innovations Inc., the following applies.

What we collect. Your name, your company name, your mobile phone number, and the date and record of your consent.

How we use it. Solely to send you automated safety alerts related to workers you are designated to receive alerts for, and to send you service messages about the alert program itself.

Message frequency. Up to 10 messages per month.

Message and data rates may apply.

How to stop. Reply STOP to any message to cancel. Reply HELP for help. Opt-out is processed by the mobile carrier and takes effect immediately.

Consent is optional. You are not required to consent to text messages in order to use the Epic ERA platform. Safety alerts remain available by email.

Sharing. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

We share information only as described here.

With the employer that deployed the device. Device, location, sensor, and event information is made available to the employer and its designated administrators as part of the service.

With designated safety contacts. Alert information, limited to the worker's name, event time, jobsite location, and a link to the Epic ERA application, is sent to safety contacts who have consented to receive it.

With service providers. We use third-party providers to operate our infrastructure, including cloud hosting and messaging delivery. These providers process information only to provide services to us and are bound by contractual obligations to protect it.

When required by law. We may disclose information where required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or where necessary to protect the safety of any person.

In a business transfer. If Epic Global Innovations Inc. is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

We do not sell personal information. We do not rent, sell, or lease personal information to third parties, and we do not share personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

We retain device, sensor, and event information for as long as necessary to provide the service and to support safety reporting, incident review, and insurance or claims processes, and as required by applicable law. Retention periods reflect the multi-year timelines on which workplace safety claims may develop.

Consent records for text message alerts are retained for as long as consent remains active and afterward as required to demonstrate compliance.

We use technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encryption of data in transit and at rest, per-device authentication credentials, access controls, and monitoring. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Text message alerts. Reply STOP to any message to cancel at any time.

Access and correction. Workers and safety contacts may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal information by contacting us at support@epiceraalert.com. Where information is held on behalf of an employer, we may direct the request to that employer, or work with them to respond.

Additional rights. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights regarding your personal information. Contact us to exercise them.

The Epic ERA platform and Epic ERA Shield devices are intended for use by adults in a workplace setting. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated through the Epic ERA platform or by other appropriate means.
